The EMS Similar Division emerged with the creation of the EMS Laboratory in January of 1964, in São Bernardo do Campo, SP.

It offers drugs and dosage forms more and more different and with competitive advantages to doctors, pharmacists and patients. Among the highlights are: Gerovital, Apevitin BC, Naridrin, Sominex, Complexo B [B Complex], EMS Expectorante [EMS Expectorant] and Allexofedrin.

The growth of the division followed the growth of the company. Today, EMS Similar has a wide portfolio of high quality products that covers the most varied therapeutic classes and a sales team operating in over 50 thousand pharmacies all Brazil.

This is only possible because EMS has a bigger line of similars with bioequivalence tests in the market and the biggest Research & Development center in Latin America.
